Health Services Fair
ADEFAGUA participated in the Health Services Fair organized by Cuéntanos. IRC, with the support of USAID. This fair took place at the central plaza of Chimaltenango, where young students and the general public learned about ADEFAGUA’s services, especially the virtual clinic.
Celebration of Psychologist’s Day
at ADEFAGUA
On July 21, ADEFAGUA (Association for the Development of the Guatemalan Family) enthusiastically celebrated Psychologist’s Day, organizing a special event to recognize the dedication and effort of mental health professionals who are the heart of the organization.
The celebration took place at D’Leña Steak, located in Zone 10 of Guatemala City, and was attended by psychologists, volunteers, and administrative staff of the Association.

Self-Esteem Workshop and Its Relationship with Alcoholism

Alcohol consumption can negatively affect self-esteem perception and increase impulsivity, reducing the ability to regulate emotions.
That’s why we support the community in better managing internal and interpersonal conflicts, helping to reduce the negative consequences of alcoholism.
